Field Trips
The Mesa Historical Museum offers docent-led tours for field trips appropriate for school and other types of groups. School tours are approximately 90 minutes long and include a tour of the museum and historic activities. Lunch/picnic facilities, bathrooms, and bus parking are available.
While Mesa's history is particularly relevant for the 4th Grade curriculum, standards-based field trips are available for a variety of grade levels, and meet standards in many content areas (besides Social Studies), including Language Arts, Technology, Math, Science, and more!
Field trips can also include a visit to our new exhibition, "Play Ball: The Cactus League Experience." (Teacher's packet coming soon. In the meantime, yes, it hits a variety of standards too!)
